Vulnerable
Luxembourgish, the national language of Luxembourg, is a unique and vital part of the country’s cultural identity. Yet, despite its importance, Luxembourgish faces growing challenges: with fewer than 300,000 speakers, it is classified as vulnerable. In the age of digital learning, Luxembourgish lacks the robust AI-powered resources and voice databases needed to support new learners and keep the language alive.
At Voices Repository, we are committed to changing that. By documenting and creating high-quality AI voices for Luxembourgish, we aim to empower future generations to learn and use the language with ease. This isn’t just about preserving words—it’s about safeguarding a rich cultural heritage and ensuring that Luxembourgish thrives in a modern, globalized world.
